Beppu Wiarda gallery is co-owned by Stan Beppu, Gail Beppu, and Stephanie Wiarda. Stephanie Wiarda brings to this collaboration considerable expertise, drawing from her eight years as director of Blackfish Gallery in Portland, Oregon, director of Northwest Print Council - also in Portland - and as a board member and director of Sitka Center for Art and Ecology in Otis, Oregon . Stan and Gail Beppu have an impressive history of involvement in the arts. For fifteen years they owned and operated The Beppu Art Gallery on Oregon s central coast, a gallery intrinsically involved with visual artists, writers, and musicians. Gail has served as a board member and director of Sitka Center for Art and Ecology in Otis, OR . Stan, Gail, and Stephanie combined their energies and experience to create beppu wiarda gallery, an endeavor reflecting their passion for and commitment to the arts and art-advocacy programs, as well as their desire to represent emerging and established artists. The gallery is located in Portland ‘s Pearl District.
