I am a licensed acupuncturist holding a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, one of the top acupuncture schools in the nation. During my time spent at the college, I also completed my internship within OCOMs community clinic and also at Outside In, located in downtown Portland. Not only have I studied with many renowned Chinese medical doctors, but I have studied and been certified by Virginia Doran, founder of the Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture protocol and Shellie Goldstein, founder of the Acufacial protocol. Both of which I integrate into my program. I have come to love Chinese Medicine, in that, each person who comes through the door is unique. No one person will be treated the same as the next, even though they may present with a similar set of symptoms or manifestations. I currently am available in two locations: 1306 NW Hoyt, Suite 410, located in the Pearl District and 1418 E. Burnside, inside the Gypsy Rose, Portland, Oregon. Please call me for an appointment at 503 267 7470 or if it is more convenient for you, please email me jana@mooreacupuncture. I am currently accepting most insurance. Mission My personal mission as an acupuncturist and health care practitioner is to help my patients overcome their health condition(s), and provide them with necessary tools and guidance to be able to engage in their own healing process. I believe in the natural healing process of the body, and that we ultimately have to rely on this process to gain and maintain health. I believe that dis-ease typically takes a long time to manifest, and is the result of a long-term energy disturbance within the mind, body and/or spirit. Dis-ease can result from excess stress (emotional and/or physical), poor diet, lack of exercise, genetic disposition, exposure to chemicals or pesticides, excess repetitive motions, or any combination of the above. There are also conditions that result from injury and trauma, and these can be usually be helped as well through Chinese medicine. I hope that I may be able to help assist you in achieving health, and am available for free phone consultation.
